Neat Feat introduces sport orthotic sandals
August 27th, 2013
LOS ANGELES – Neat Feat Products has launched Neat Zori, which it describes as a modern sport version of the traditional Japanese thong (flip-flop) Zori.
The Australian foot care and body care product maker said Monday that Neat Zori is a unisex sport orthotic sandal, incorporating the advantages of an orthotic (heel cup, arch and metatarsal support) into a supportive flip-flop that's ideal for lower back pain sufferers and people with sore joints.
The ergonomic soled slip-ons are made of high-quality rubber, with a V-shaped thong that sits between the big toe and the rest of the foot to keep the sandal securely in place, according to Neat Feat, which said the footwear can help reduce foot, leg, back and hip fatigue.
Neat Zori can be worn around the house, and the grip on the sole makes them well-suited for outdoors, the company noted, adding that the lightweight sandals are water-resistant and dry rapidly when wet. And unlike conventional shoes that may squeeze toes together and potentially warp the shape of your feet, Neat Zori lets feet breathe naturally.
"Feet need room to breathe; they don't enjoy being cramped in uncomfortable shoes that may look fashionable but are causing problems on the inside," stated Neat Feat managing director Ant Laity. "But even when the health of their feet is at stake, many people still do forgo comfort for fashion. But now with Zori they can have both."
The company called Neat Zori "the closest you'll get to a custom-made orthotic costing a fraction of the price."
Available in tan/black and red/white colors and in sizes 6 to 12, Neat Zori are available in the United States at CVS/pharmacy, Navarro Discount Pharmacy and Duane Reade drug stores and selected pharmacy chains. They retail for $39.95 to $49.95.
Earlier this month, Neat Feat also introduced 3B Body Saver Cream in the United States. The medically formulated cream, which incorporates an effective antiperspirant in an emollient, is designed to alleviate sweat rash and chafing. The product, retailing for $12.95, is available at Walmart stores and online at Discount Drug Mart and Amazon.
