TriDerma rolls out vein healing cream
May 9th, 2013
ANAHEIM, Calif. – TriDerma has launched Vein Defense Healing Cream, a professional-strength formula designed to provide an alternative to costly laser procedures.
TriDerma's Vein Defense Healing Cream
The company said Wednesday that Vein Defense Healing Cream helps reduce the look of veins, spider veins, red blotches and broken capillaries on the face and body.
The product contains TriDerma's proprietary botanical complex, AP4 Genuine Virgin Organic Aloe, which the company said has over 200 healing properties. Active plant extracts, anti-aging peptides, vitamins and other specially selected ingredients work synergistically to promote healthy skin.
In addition, the cream contains optical blurring pigments that reflect light, producing a blurred effect that softens the look of lines and wrinkles, the company explained.
TriDerma noted that it's not only women who want to reduce the look of veins and spider veins. Men are also interested in a vein solution, especially for the face. The formula is nongreasy and contains no fragrance or color, factors that are important to men, the company said.
"We use generous amounts of active ingredients to speed results," stated Holly Ahearn, director of research and development at TriDerma. "I want TriDerma formulas to produce results quickly. As we age, reducing the look of veins becomes more important."
TriDerma said Vein Defense Healing Cream is available in the first aid aisle at national drug stores.
The company makes over 50 products, available online and in the first aid, skin care and baby sections of drug stores and supercenters across the United States and internationally. U.S. retailers carrying its products include Walgreens, Duane Reade, Pharmaca, Leader pharmacies, Walmart, Meijer, Kroger and Shopko.
