UrgentRx lands retail distribution at CVS

DENVER – UrgentRx has expanded retail distribution for its line of fast-acting, over-the-counter powder medicines to CVS/pharmacy, OfficeMax and airport retailer Paradies Stores.

The company said Thursday that it's making big strides in distribution in the food/drug/mass retail sector and alternative channels, more than tripling its products' store count in the third quarter of 2013.

With the addition of the three new retailers, UrgentRx products are now carried in more than 10,000 retail stores, and the brand is slated to add another 10,000 stores in the coming months. CVS/pharmacy has more than 7,700 drug stores, OfficeMax has over 900 office supply stores and Paradies encompasses 71 airport locations across the country. With the addition of these new retail partnerships, UrgentRx has achieved distribution to provide right now relief nationwide.

Contained in credit card-sized packets for on-the-go use, UrgentRx flavored powder medicines come in six varieties: Critical Care Aspirin to Go, Headache Relief to Go, Heartburn Relief to Go, Upset Stomach Relief to Go, Ache & Pain Relief to Go and Allergy Attack Relief to Go.

Other chains carrying UrgentRx products include Walgreens, Walmart, Target, Duane Reade, Kerr Drug, Albertsons, Ralphs, Lewis Drug, King Soopers, Fred Meyer, Pharmaca and QFC, among others.
