Rite Aid Corp. has obtained a commitment from GE Capital for $290 million of new money for a $1 billion asset-based revolving line of credit. In a letter to key congressional committee chairmen, the National Association of Chain Drug Stores has voiced concern with pharmacy reimbursement provisions in House health care reform legislation. Patients are largely unfamiliar with medication therapy management (MTM) but believe such a pharmacist-provided service would be valuable, according to recently released findings of a study led by the University of Maryland's School of Pharmacy.
