February 3rd, 2010
AtHisBest.com offers more than 10,000 items for men's health and grooming needs.
BELLEVUE, Wash. – Continuing its strategy to build one-stop shopping destinations for key categories, drugstore.com has launched an online store for men's health and grooming products.
Called AtHisBest.com, the web site is the first online store dedicated to offering a comprehensive selection of men's grooming, health, home, fitness, sexual wellness and personal care essentials at competitive prices, drugstore.com said Wednesday.
AtHisBest.com offers more than 10,000 items, including mass and prestige products, according to drugstore.com. For example, on the home page, the site showcased such items as shaving gear and sundries, dietary supplements, male sexual enhancement pills, hair growth treatment, cologne and facial moisturizer.
In addition, AtHisBest.com lets shoppers browse and search for products by category, each with its own landing page, as well as by subcategory. Segments include skin, hair, shave and scent, personal care, household, medicine cabinet, vitamins, sports and fitness, and sex.
The e-store also provides customer recommendations, enabling shoppers to quickly sort through products for top sellers or five-star customer reviews; instant coupons offering immediate savings; a tool called Your List that lists prior purchases to allow account holders to quickly reorder their favorite items by checking a box; and auto delivery so customers can set up regular delivery of items they use every day.
"AtHisBest.com is the first site of its kind, created specifically to give men one convenient place to find their everyday grooming and health supplies, prestige products and fitness essentials," David Lonczak, drugstore.com vice president and chief marketing officer, said in a statement. "Drugstore.com is a leader in serving the health, beauty and wellness needs of female customers, and now with AtHisBest.com we plan to offer men the same level of value, service and selection.”
Drugstore.com has continued to add online outlets dedicated to certain product areas. In late December, the company agreed to buy Salu Inc., which owns and operates SkinStore.com, an online retailer of clinical skin care and beauty products. And earlier that month, drugstore.com formed a partnership with optical store chain operator Luxottica Group to expand online access to contact lenses in North America.
Last month, the company was steering customers with flexible spending accounts to its online FSA Store for savings on thousands of items. And in October the retailer launched a dedicated site for for sexual wellness products called SexualWellBeing.com, adding to its VisionDirect.com and Beauty.com web stores.
