October 25th, 2010

TORONTO – London Drugs has begun carrying a selection of wireless devices from WIND Mobile.

The Canadian mobile service provider said that 30 London Drugs stores in Calgary and Edmonton, Alberta, and Vancouver, British Columbia, are now offering four of its wireless products in convenient grab-and-go displays.

Devices include the Huawei 1250 cellular phone, Huawei 8100 Android smartphone, the Nokia 5230 Black touch-screen cell phone and the Samsung Gravity 2 Blue cell phone with slide-out keyboard.

"London Drugs has a proven record of providing western Canadians with the best in electronics. This partnership allows us to reach more customers in the West and guarantees that they receive great service at the same time," Ken Campbell, chief executive officer of WIND Mobile, said in a statement.

Richmond, British Columbia-based London Drugs is known for its extensive camera and consumer electronics department, which features products not typically found in a drug store. The retailer has 74 stores in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
