Mscripts unveils mobile platform for McKesson's EnterpriseRx

SAN FRANCISCO – Mscripts has made availabile a certified mobile pharmacy platform for the EnterpriseRx pharmacy management system from McKesson Pharmacy Systems & Automation.

The mobile pharmacy technology provider said Tuesday that with the solution, McKesson EnterpriseRx customers can now communicate with patients through a range of mobile communication pathways and deliver a full-featured mobile pharmacy offering

With the mscripts mobile pharmacy platform, patients can communicate with their pharmacies via two-way, interactive text messaging and mobile applications supporting a smartphones such as the iPhone, Android and Windows Phone, according to mscripts.

Features of the mobile solution include the ability for patients to refill prescriptions, receive pickup and dosage reminders, and get a complete view of their health information. Pharmacies, meanwhile, can proactively send patients information on health clinics, drug recalls and coupons, the company noted.
