HRG announces new IT leadership

WAUKESHA, Wisc. — Steve Hill has been promoted to IT manager at Hamacher Resource Group (HRG). Hill has been with HRG since 2019 and was elevated to PC development/technical analyst lead last year.

Steve HillIn Hill’s new role, HRG’s software developers and network teams will report to him, as well as IT interns. He will be responsible for managing their workloads and mentoring their professional growth as well as being the communication liaison with internal departments requesting development work. Additionally, he will continue to manage various internal and external projects within the organization and be responsible for researching emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence and business process automation. Hill shared, “Utilizing process automation to perform repetitive office tasks, such as extracting data, filling in forms, moving files, and more, means we can free our associates to use their experience and talents more creatively and strategically.”

Beth Maas, human resources director and member of the owner group at HRG, said, “Steve has been a vital part of HRG and IT and has consistently demonstrated leadership abilities, technical skills, and a deep commitment to HRG’s success. His contributions have been instrumental in numerous projects, and his detailed approach has enhanced our IT infrastructure and support systems. This is a well-deserved promotion, and we look forward to Steve’s continued contributions and leadership in this new capacity.”
