NEW YORK — Major League Pickleball by Margaritaville (MLP) and Advil have announced Advil as the Exclusive and Official Pain Reliever of MLP in a multi-year partnership agreement. Under the agreement, Advil will serve as the title sponsor of the Advil Targeted Relief MLP Mid-Season Tournament, coming to Grand Rapids, Mich., July 10-14.

“Advil is a trusted and effective pain reliever, and this agreement furthers MLP’s strategic partnerships in the health and wellness categories,” said MLP CEO Bruce Popko. “We are so pleased to welcome Advil to the MLP family and have them serve as the title sponsor for our inaugural mid-season tournament.”

The Advil Targeted Relief MLP Mid-Season Tournament will be a first-of-its-kind event, featuring all 22 MLP franchises competing in a double elimination bracket to crown an event champion. The event will mark the only time during the 2024 MLP season schedule that all MLP teams will be participating in the same event.

In addition to event title sponsorship, Advil’s role as Official Pain Reliever of MLP will include:

  • The Advil Targeted Relief Zone, a player-ready area offering samples of Advil Targeted Relief, Advil’s first topical pain reliever, for MLP’s professional players
  • Ads and billboards on linear coverage of the Grand Rapids event on both ESPN2 and Tennis Channel
  • Prominent signage on Championship Court and Grandstand Court
  • A presence at all 2024 and 2025 MLP events, where samples of Advil’s portfolio of pain relief products will be provided to the general public
