Alpha Modus settles patent dispute with Walgreens

CORNELIUS, N.C. — Alpha Modus Holdings Inc., a provider of AI-powered retail technology, said it has reached a settlement in its patent infringement lawsuit against Walgreens.

The case, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas (Case No. 2:25-cv-00120), centered on Alpha Modus’s U.S. Patent Nos. 10,977,672 and 11,042,890, which cover in-store retail technologies. The companies did not disclose financial or contractual details of the settlement, but the lawsuit will be dismissed with prejudice.
