CLEVELAND — A greeting card line from American Greetings Corp. brings a new way for consumers to convey warmth.
The company said Tuesday that it has rolled out Illuminotes cards, which feature a unique card fold, an elegant frosted vellum window and beautifully diffused light.
Upon opening an Illuminotes card, recipients "are presented with a soft, heartfelt glow that enhances the thoughtful sentiment," according to American Greetings. Consumers also can put the card on display for all to appreciate, the company added.
"Sending a greeting card is all about offering a thoughtful gesture, and we are always working to reflect the feelings consumers want to share with products that are wonderful keepsakes and fun, unique experiences," Carol Miller, executive director of new product concepts at American Greetings, said in a statement. "With Illuminotes, shoppers can share their emotions with a beautiful card that reflects just how important the recipient and their relationship is to them."
American Greetings said the new Illuminotes cards are available now at drug store chains, supermarkets and supercenter retailers.
