CLEVELAND — Everyday objects come to life in a new line of greeting cards from American Greetings.
Called Yakety Yaks, the new card line is "inspired by everything from garbage cans and coffee cups to cheeseburgers and cupcakes," according to American Greetings.
Featuring innovative music and motion technology, each googley-eyed Yakety Yaks card turns everyday objects into true characters "with hilarious songs and entertaining faces you’ll have to see to believe," the company said Tuesday.
"Yakety Yaks are a great example of how sometimes we just want to share something that is fun and silly and hilariously absurd," stated Carol Miller, executive director of new product concepts at American Greetings. "The cards feature quirky characters that are perfect for celebrating any occasion and will instantly put anyone in a great mood. They definitely put a smile on our faces while we were working on the line, and they are sure to put a smile on any recipient’s as well."
American Greetings said Yakety Yaks greeting cards are available now at drug store, supermarket and other mass retail chains nationwide.
