CLEVELAND — American Greetings has launched a new greeting card line that’s designed to convey a lasting, more meaningful message by providing a special note for later.
Dubbed "Open This When," the new line takes the traditional greeting card and enhances it by adding a note for later that continues the card’s overall theme while offering a thoughtful secondary message, according to American Greetings.
Ideal for messages of love, motivational words of inspiration and funny add-ons to a joke, Open This When "is sure to bring two smiles to any recipient’s face," according to the company.
"With the note for later, friends and family are given a second opportunity to enjoy the experience of opening a greeting card and reading a warm message that is just for them," commented Mary McClain, creative director for new product concepts at American Greetings. "We’re very excited about this new product because it really transforms the typical greeting card experience to make it even more enjoyable, memorable and meaningful for both the sender and their recipient."
The Open This When card line is available now at drug store chains, supermarkets and supercenters nationwide.
