American Pharmacists Association announces the roll out of HealthShifts

In collaboration with CPhA and Locumate.

WASHINGTON – The American Pharmacists Association has launched of HealthShifts, a transformative platform designed to empower pharmacy professionals and employers with innovative staffing solutions and nationwide job board services. Developed in collaboration with the California Pharmacists Association (CPhA) and powered by Locumate, HealthShifts aims to address critical workforce challenges in pharmacy while promoting professional growth and career opportunities.

"HealthShifts represents a significant step forward in APhA's commitment to supporting pharmacists and advancing the profession," said Michael Hogue, executive vice president and CEO of APhA. "This initiative showcases the leadership of the APhA Board and our dedication to investing in innovative solutions that address workforce needs while empowering pharmacists to excel in their careers."

HealthShifts will initially roll out its staffing services in California, supporting pharmacies with dynamic shift coverage and connecting pharmacy professionals with flexible work opportunities. Additionally, the platform will feature a nationwide job board for pharmacy positions, extending its reach and impact across the United States.

Rajan Vaidya, CEO of HealthShifts, expressed gratitude for the partnership and emphasized the importance of collaboration in launching the platform: "The leadership and vision of APhA and CPhA have been instrumental in bringing HealthShifts to life.
