BURNSVILLE, Minn. — Apothecary Products (APL) is excited to announce the acquisition of Equadose, a distinguished consumer products company renowned for its innovative health and wellness solutions. Equadose has carved a niche in the market with its premium line of medication management products, notably the innovative Equadose pill cutter.
Equadose was born from a personal mission by Tyson and Shannon Triplett. Shannon, leveraging her expertise as a former ICU nurse, and Tyson, a skilled design engineer, combined their passions to create products that enhance medication management. Their flagship product, the Equadose pill cutter, has garnered widespread acclaim for its quality, precision, and ease of use.
“With Equadose joining Apothecary Products, we are not only integrating a suite of high-quality products but also embracing a legacy of innovation,” said Darran Spence, Chief Executive Officer of Apothecary Products. “Tyson, Shannon, and their dedicated team in Provo, Utah, will play a pivotal role in transitioning operations to our Burnsville headquarters over the coming months.”
Under the terms of the acquisition, Tyson Triplett will continue to contribute his expertise as a consultant in Engineering and Development, ensuring a seamless integration of Equadose within APL.
“This strategic acquisition represents a significant milestone for us as we broaden our product offerings and reinforce Apothecary’s position as our customers’ first choice for trusted self-care solutions,” Spence said. “We are thrilled to welcome Equadose into the APL family and are confident that this acquisition will strengthen our ability to serve our customers with premium solutions that help make providing care a little easier.”
