SAN DIEGO — Asteres Inc. has named Shawn Orr as vice president of global operations.
The company said Tuesday that Orr will lead the rapid expansion of its ScriptCenter automated pharmacy kiosk in retail, health care and military locations worldwide.
"Asteres is growing, ScriptCenter markets are globally expanding and Shawn brings the top-line results and operational excellence required to scale the company," Linda Pinney, Asteres’ founder and president, said in a statement. "With over 20 years of successful experience in sales, customer services, operations management and manufacturing, we are thrilled to have Shawn join our team."
Orr joins Asteres from PatientSafe Solutions Inc., where he served as vice president of sales operations. Before that, he was senior vice president of operations for EMN8 Enterprise Media Networks and vice president of operations for Pyxis Corp., a Cardinal Health company.
