Albertsons Cos. has promoted Sean Barrett to senior vice president of advertising and marketing. Barrett has been at Albertsons since 2015. At the time of his promotion, he was serving on the retailer’s own brands team as group vice president of innovation, product and brands.
CVS buys 14-store Red Cross Pharmacy
Marshall, Mo.-based Red Cross Pharmacy Inc. plans to sell its retail pharmacies to CVS Pharmacy, both companies announced last month. Red Cross Pharmacy is a top-50 drug store chain and one of the oldest pharmacy businesses in the country.
