CCA divests Mega-T weight-loss brand

CCA Industries Inc. has sold its weight-loss business, marketed under the Mega-T brand, to a group formed by Casla Partners Capital Fund I, LP. Financial terms of the transaction, announced late Thursday, weren’t disclosed.

SoloHealth’s SoloHealth Station health and wellness kiosk has exceeded the 40 million mark in consumer engagements, averaging almost 130,000 users per day. The company said Friday that its health station is drawing about 10 million users per quarter and projecting 40 million annually.

Kao USA exec promoted to vice president of sales

Perrigo closes acquisition of Elan

Perrigo Co. has completed its $8.6 billion deal to acquire Irish pharmaceutical company Elan Corp. Perrigo said Wednesday that under the acquisition, announced in July, it has combined with Elan to form a new company incorporated in Ireland, which has adopted the global name Perrigo Company plc.

Rite Aid expands its partnership with GNC

Rite Aid Corp. has extended its partnership with GNC and plans to add hundreds more of the nutritional supplement retailer’s store-within-a-store departments to its drug stores. The drug chain said Thursday that the agreement expands the Rite Aid-GNC partnership to 2019.
