Mylan introduces generic version of Lexapro

Mylan Inc. has launched escitalopram tablets, which the company said is the first equivalent product to Forest Laboratories’ Lexapro antidepressant. Mylan said Wednesday that its escitalopram product, released by its Mylan Pharmaceuticals Inc. subsidiary, comes in strengths of 5 mg, 10 mg and 20 mg.
