Tornado-stricken communities get aid from Walgreens

Walgreen Co. is donating $100,000 to the American Red Cross in response to the deadly storms and tornadoes that recently hit the Southeast. The drug store chain said late Monday that the donation will help meet the immediate needs of individuals and families in affected communities.

Sam’s Club to offer free skin health screenings

Later this month Sam’s Club is slated to give free DermaScan skin tests to the first 100 people who sign up at each store. The Walmart warehouse club subsidiary said Monday that the screenings, conducted by U.S. Wellness, will be available to members and nonmembers.
