SEATTLE — Bartell Drugs and WARM 106.9 FM are once again teaming up to give “bear hugs” to children in stressful or traumatic situations with the annual “Teddy Bear Patrol” campaign, April 1 through 28. This is the 29th year of this successful campaign.

Bartell Drugs

The annual drive puts teddy bears in the hands of community police departments, hospitals and emergency response teams so they may give the bears to children involved in challenging situations. With a 128-year history in the Northwest, Bartell Drugs’ 68 stores in King, Snohomish and Pierce counties are designated locations for teddy bear donations. Customers can purchase an official “Bartell Bear” for $8.00 and Bartells will donate a second bear to the campaign.

During last year’s drive, more than 15,000 bears were donated to this heartfelt cause. Bears will be accepted in all Bartell Drugs locations through April 28. No bears are being accepted that are over 12” inches long.
