SEATTLE – Bartell’s and Kaiser Permanente are introducing a new program called “Lovable Lions” at Care Clinics located in select Bartell’s locations. The main goal of the program is to improve the patient visit experience by gifting young cub patients a friend in the form of a stuffed lion named Leo.

CareClinic providers will offer each young patient their very own Leo when they check in. To make their experience as enjoyable as possible, the healthcare provider will offer an exam for Leo including checking their height, weight, blood pressure, temperature, fur, eyes, nose and heart. CareClinic providers may also offer vaccinations for Leo including a “Fluffluenza” vaccine and a “Cuddle Cough” vaccine. The report will be given to the child patient to keep.

While supplies last, Bartell’s and Kaiser Permanente CareClinics encourage families to visit a CareClinic location to get their very own Loveable Lion and to share their experience online by tagging Bartell Drugs, Kaiser Permanente CareClinics and #CareClinicCubs.
