TAMPA, Fla. — Benzer Pharmacy has joined the American Pharmacy Purchasing Alliance (APPA), a pharmacy purchasing association.
All of Benzer’s more than 60 pharmacy locations nationwide will be members of the alliance, according to Benzer Pharmacy president Alpesh Patel.
“We are excited to announce that all Benzer pharmacies will be joining this alliance that offers industry-trusted education and information and acts as a trusted voice for the national pharmaceutical purchasing industry,” Patel said in a statement.
Through its community of pharmaceutical experts and professionals, Cerritos, Calif.-based APPA provides education, develops networking strategies and new technologies, and helps further legislation to support the pharmaceutical purchasing industry.
“Our goal is to keep members abreast of the latest developments and news in the pharmaceutical industry as well as offering educational opportunities for professional growth and empowerment,” stated Joshua Pirestani, president of the American Pharmacy Purchasing Alliance.
“APPA focuses on gathering different entities and sources of information that will become beneficial to the industry as well as to the parties concerned,” Pirestani added.
