TAMPA, Fla. — Benzer Pharmacy has made this year’s Inc. 5000 list of the fastest-growing private companies, coming in at No. 1500.
The drug chain said Monday that companies making the 2015 Inc. 5000 list were ranked according to percentage of revenue growth between 2011 and 2014. Benzer Pharmacy generated sales growth of 274% during that three-year period, reporting total revenue of $88.9 million for 2015.
“Benzer Pharmacy is thrilled to make the Inc. 5000 list for the first time. We are honored to be part of this prestigious list of companies and to be mentioned among this impressive group of entrepreneurs and innovators,” Manish Patel, chief executive officer of Benzer Pharmacy, said in a statement.
The chain also has been recognized for its business growth in its home state of Florida. Among health companies, the pharmacy operator has ranked in the top 20 in Florida, and it has made the Florida Fast 100 list as one of the state’s fastest-growing private companies.
Helping to drive Benzer’s growth is the rapid expansion of its customer reach. The retail pharmacy chain — which specializes in compounding, specialty medications and personal services — said it now has about 40 locations in Florida, Michigan, Virginia, North Carolina, Texas, Tennessee, Georgia, Nevada and Louisiana, and 15 others are in process.
“Following this explosive growth, successful track record and phenomenal customer satisfaction, we are confident that our aggressive growth trajectory will continue throughout 2015 and beyond,” stated Alpesh Patel, president of Benzer Pharmacy.
“I am very proud of the Benzer Pharmacy team and honored to be part of this distinguished and dynamic group,” he commented about the company making the Inc. 5000.
