BGC promotes Neil Ducote to VP of pharmacy operations

Brookshire Grocery Co. (BGC) recently announced the promotion of Neil Ducote to Vice President of Pharmacy Operations. Ducote, who served as director of pharmacy operations for BGC since 2017, graduated from the University of Louisiana at Monroe in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science in pharmacy.

TYLER, Texas — Brookshire Grocery Co. (BGC) recently announced the promotion of Neil Ducote to Vice President of Pharmacy Operations.

Ducote, who served as director of pharmacy operations for BGC since 2017, graduated from the University of Louisiana at Monroe in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science in pharmacy. Ducote oversees the daily operations and development of the company’s 123 retail pharmacies throughout Texas, Louisiana and Arkansas, along with the prescription central fill center in Tyler, Texas.

Ducote previously served as a pharmacy zone manager and was responsible for 23 pharmacies in Brookshire’s stores. Prior to joining BGC in 2010, Ducote had over 25 years of experience with family-owned retail grocery company pharmacies. He had most recently served as director of pharmacy for Minyard Food Stores and previously served with Tom Thumb. Prior to being promoted to supervision, Ducote gained experience in multiple formats, including a free-standing drug store, deep discount store, traditional grocery store and a hospital retail pharmacy.
