DUBLIN, Ohio — For the second consecutive year, Cardinal Health has earned Great Place to Work Certification in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, India, the Philippines and Puerto Rico. The recognition highlights a mission-driven, inclusive culture across our teams who work every day to support healthcare providers and patients.
Great Place to Work is a global benchmark for workplace culture and employee experience. Certification is based on what current employees say about this experience through the Great Place to Work Trust Index™ survey, paired with an independent review of our company’s programs, culture and benefits.
Across the six surveyed regions, 85% of participating employees affirmed that Cardinal Health is a great place to work. (The benchmark at a typical American company is 57%.) Enterprise-wide survey responses highlight employee pride and community engagement:
- 89% of employees reported feeling a deep sense of pride when reflecting on what they accomplish.
- 88% felt positive about the meaningful ways Cardinal Health contributes to local communities.

Employees who responded to the survey spoke about the company’s people and purpose. One wrote, “I am incredibly proud to be part of the team at Cardinal Health. What makes working here so rewarding is knowing that our day-to-day work directly supports healthcare providers and improves patients’ lives. The company genuinely invests in our growth, fosters a deeply inclusive culture and provides a collaborative environment in which we truly thrive. It's powerful to work for an organization where our culture and our mission of improving the lives of people every day are completely aligned.”
Another noted, “Beyond the opportunities for development, there is a deep sense of purpose in the work we do. Knowing that our efforts ultimately support healthcare providers and patients gives meaning to even the most routine tasks. Survey scope and methodology
To evaluate workplace sentiment, nearly 20,000 employees across diverse functions and organizational levels were invited to participate in the survey, including all employees in Canada, India, Mexico, the Philippines and Puerto Rico, and a random sample of 7,000 U.S. employees.
