Linthicum, Md. — CARE Pharmacies Cooperative Inc. announced today the election of its 2025 Board of Directors, including the appointment of Lionel Phillips as Vice Chairman of its Executive Committee. The newly elected board members, Ryan Hollingsworth, Natalie Ryan, and Steven Pieri, bring diverse expertise to the organization, positioning CARE Pharmacies to navigate the rapidly evolving pharmacy landscape.

Lionel Phillips, the newly appointed Vice Chairman, is the founder and owner of Inside Edge Consulting Group, Inc., a pharmaceutical and biotech marketing consulting firm based in Princeton, NJ. Phillips is a recognized advocate for health equity, focusing on underserved minority populations. His firm specializes in clinical trial enrollment, community-based education programs, and fostering relationships with key community stakeholders across the U.S. and internationally. Phillips holds an MBA with a concentration in Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Marketing from St. Joseph’s University Haub School of Business.
Natalie Ryan, Vice President of Specialty Pharmacy at Value Specialty Pharmacy, has extensive experience in pharmacy operations and patient care. She has worked in long-term care, specialty, and institutional settings as a board-certified psychiatric pharmacist and certified specialty pharmacist. Ryan oversees wholesaler and manufacturer contracting, inventory management, and accreditation processes. She holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Duquesne University and a master’s degree from the University of Florida.
Ryan Hollingsworth, Chief Operating Officer of FountainRx Specialty Pharmacy and BrookWell Infusion, is recognized for his expertise in pharmacy operations and healthcare services management. Hollingsworth ensures the delivery of high-quality patient care, optimizes operational workflows, and drives strategic growth across both organizations. He earned his Doctor of Pharmacy from Samford University and attended East Tennessee State University.
Steven Pieri, Vice President of Market Access for Sobi North America, rounds out the new board appointments. Pieri’s career includes leadership roles at major pharmaceutical companies such as Bristol Myers Squibb, Janssen, and Amgen. In his current role, he oversees payer strategy, patient services, and pricing for the Hematology, Immunology, and Rare Disease categories. Pieri holds an MBA in Marketing from St. Joseph’s College in Philadelphia.
