CDMA sets date for annual trade show

The Chain Drug Marketing Association (CDMA) will hold its 86th Annual Trade Expo at the Gaylord Palms Resort here from January 23 through January 26.

KISSIMMEE, Fla. — The Chain Drug Marketing Association (CDMA) will hold its 86th Annual Trade Expo at the Gaylord Palms Resort here from January 23 through January 26.

The event will bring together suppliers and representatives of regional drug chains, regional drug wholesalers, independent pharmacies, grocery stores and convenience stores.

Buyers will discuss business opportunities with exhibitors, meet and exchange ideas with other buyers, and learn about new CDMA programs that can help to increase profitability in the front end. Buyers can hold one-on-one meetings with private label manufacturers through the Store Brand Forum.

Buyers will also learn about new product launches and industry and marketing trends. They can also attend the CDMA Showroom and Direct Import area, where a large variety of seasonal and everyday merchandise with exceptional pricing will be displayed.

CDMA says that suppliers who exhibit at the show will meet a customer base not often found at other trade shows.

CDMA says it will help suppliers at the event get the attention regional chains through a pre-show mailing to all attending buyers.
