PALM BEACH, Fla. – The first day of the National Association of Chain Drug Stores Annual Meeting got off to a fast start at a breakfast on GLP-1s sponsored by retailmediaIQ, publisher of Chain Drug Review and MMR. Building on a webinar devoted to the same topic earlier this year, the session addressed the latest developments in a rapidly evolving category that is poised to impact much of what transpires in the food and pharmacy sectors. Moderated by Parag Shah, co-founder, partner and chief growth officer at Think Blue, the panelists included Jim Kirby, chief commercial officer at Kroger Health, Betty Pio, a partner and strategic advisor to pharma and biotech at Kearney, and Sarah Squires, director of Retail Insights Drug Channel at NielsenIQ.
