NEW YORK — CeraVe has launched Hydrating Hyaluronic Acid Water Gel Face Moisturizer, a lightweight facial moisturizer now available exclusively on Amazon.
Developed with dermatologists, the dry-touch water gel is formulated with hyaluronic acid, three essential ceramides, and CeraVe’s new patent-pending Ceramide Booster Technology. The company said the product is designed to deliver three days of plumping hydration, 72-hour moisture, and a stronger skin barrier in as little as one hour.
The formula also includes CeraVe’s MVE Technology, which provides a controlled release of moisturizing ingredients over time, and copper PCA, a naturally occurring blue antioxidant that gives the product its distinctive appearance.
“Skin dryness is often a sign of a compromised skin barrier, not just a lack of moisture,” said board-certified dermatologist Dr. Heather Woolery-Lloyd. “A healthy barrier helps lock in hydration and keep external aggressors out. According to CeraVe, clinical and consumer studies found that the product improved skin smoothness by 31% immediately after application. The company also said it reduced the appearance of redness by 20% after one week and by 39% after four weeks of use.
In consumer studies, 97% of participants agreed that skin looked more hydrated after one week; 94% agreed that skin felt more supple and looked smoother after one week; and 91% agreed that skin appeared more plump after two weeks.
