BRIDGEWATER, N.J. — CeraVe has been named as the official skin care partner of the Ladies Professional Golf Association Golf Clinics for Women.
Valeant Pharmaceuticals North America, the maker of CeraVe, said Tuesday that the national series of full-day golf events will be held in 14 major markets, including Los Angeles, New York, Boston, Chicago, Dallas and Atlanta.
Taught by LPGA Teaching and Club Professionals, the clinics aim to help women improve their golf games and use golf as a vehicle to broaden business opportunities and customer relationships. All skill levels are welcome.
The CeraVe brand will be showcased at each of the 14 clinic sites. Participants will receive skills instruction, on-course play and instruction, a premium gift bag with CeraVe products, a breakfast, a luncheon and networking reception, a Legends Tour professional swing exhibition and a commemorative photo.
Participants will also engage in a skills or on-course play contest featuring CeraVe products, such as sinking the longest putt or hitting a chip or tee shot within the CeraVe Skincare zone.
“We are excited to team up with LPGA Golf Clinics for Women,” stated Joe Gordon, general manager of consumer health care at Valeant. “My hope is that through this partnership, we will be able to further change the way people view skin care, emphasizing that sun protection is an essential component of maintaining a healthy lifestyle.”
In addition to on-site activation, branding and hospitality at the clinic sites, CeraVe and LPGA Golf Clinics for Women will be working together to implement various promotional efforts during the term of the partnership, Valeant added.
“We are exposed to the outdoor elements for hours at a time,” commented Jane Blalock, founder of LPGA Golf Clinics for Women and CEO of The Legends Tour, the official senior tour of the LPGA. “We really need to pay particular attention to protecting our skin, and I believe the presence of CeraVe at the clinics will help promote healthy skincare habits on and off the golf course.”
