WASHINGTON — The Consumer Healthcare Products Association has added 14 member companies since March, broadening its representation across consumer healthcare manufacturing and related services.
The additions span dietary supplements, over-the-counter medicines, medical devices, oral care, consulting, technology and retail, and include four manufacturer members and 10 associate members.
“We’re pleased to welcome these new members to CHPA,” said Scott Melville, the association’s president and chief executive officer. “These companies reflect the breadth of self-care options available to consumers today and the diverse industry CHPA is proud to represent. We look forward to working together to support consumers and the future of self-care.”
The new manufacturer members are i-Health Inc., whose portfolio includes AZO, Culturelle, Estroven and Lacteol products in OTC medicines, dietary supplements and OTC medical devices; Kinsa Health, which makes smart thermometers; Mason Vitamins, which makes Mason Naturals dietary supplements; and Sunstar Americas Inc., which makes GUM oral care products.
The associate additions include businesses that provide products and services to consumer healthcare manufacturers, along with a retail platform.
They include agency Freehand Social; business consultancy Bridgeview Advisory; contract laboratories FlexXray and Q Laboratories; and events and media company Informa Markets.
CHPA also added Reddit and WebMD in its information technology services category, and AQPR Consulting and Marsha Tharakan, MD, DDS, in regulatory consulting and intelligence. TikTok Inc. joined in the retailer category.
