CHPA names 2026 Self-Care Marketing Awards finalists

Winners across six self-care marketing categories will be announced November 11 at the Health In Hand Foundation Gala in Philadelphia.

WASHINGTON — The Consumer Healthcare Products Association’s Health In Hand Foundation has announced the finalists for the 2026 U.S. Self-Care Marketing Awards, which recognize campaigns across the over-the-counter medicine, OTC medical device and dietary supplement markets.

Winners will be announced on November 11 at the annual Health In Hand Foundation Gala at The Bellevue Hotel in Philadelphia.

The awards recognize CHPA member companies for marketing campaigns that demonstrate innovation, strategic brand positioning and effective consumer activation, while delivering measurable business results.

“The caliber of work this year is extraordinary and reflects the future of self-care marketing. Across digital engagement, product launches, public health education, and omni-channel shopper experiences, brands are demonstrating a deep understanding of today’s always-on consumer and how to connect with them in meaningful, relevant ways,” said Mary Leonard, executive director of the Health In Hand Foundation.

Haleon received finalist recognition in five categories, including its “Pass the TUMS” digital campaign, the Sensodyne Clinical Repair launch, and a public health initiative with Walmart and Remote Area Medical. Kenvue was named a finalist for its TYLENOL campaign with Amazon and the Manning brothers, as well as for its LISTERINE “Wash Your Mouth” campaign.

Bayer Consumer Health earned finalist spots for the launch of MiraFAST Soft Chews and for its “Bayer Aspirin: See Your Risk” public health campaign. Other finalists include Boiron, Karo Healthcare, Kobayashi Consumer Products, Cheers Health, Opella, LifeStyles Healthcare, Blistex, Cadence OTC, and Reckitt.

Finalists are competing in six categories: Best Digital Campaign for brand budgets below and above $5 million; Best Omni-Channel Shopper Solution; Best Product Launch Campaign for brand budgets below and above $5 million; and Best Public Health Campaign.

The judging panel included marketing, advertising, health communications, and academic leaders from organizations such as Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, Edelman, Havas Health & You, Harvard Business School, and Bucknell University.

The Health In Hand Foundation is a nonprofit organization affiliated with CHPA that helps consumers make safe and informed decisions when choosing and using self-care products.
