MUNDELEIN, Ill. — The Clinere Ear Cleaners personal ear cleaning tool is now available at Walmart, Kmart, Walgreens, CVS, Meijer, H.E. Butt and Shopko stores nationwide.
Clinere Products Inc. said Tuesday that the ear care product offers users an effective tool for ear cleaning as well as ear itch relief.
The Clinere Ear Cleaner sports dual-purpose ends. On one side is a scoop that can be used to remove unwanted wax, dirt and debris from the entrance to the ear canal, and on the other side is a flexible, finned end that cleans and exfoliates the outer surfaces of the ear, as well as the ear canal entrance.
Made of soft, flexible plastic and similar to physicians’ ear cleaning tools, Clinere Ear Cleaners provide a more beneficial means for proper ear cleaning, according to Clinere Products. Instead of using a cotton swab that can embed wax and other materials deeper into the ear canal, people can have better success removing these substances with the Clinere Ear Cleaners, resulting in "truly clean" ears, the company said, adding that first-time users are advised to softly and lightly utilize the tool’s ends at the entrance of the ear canal until they’re familiar with the product.
"After watching others clean their ears with foreign objects for years, I decided to develop a product that actually works," commented Rick Olson, president of Clinere Products Inc. "Whether individuals require daily or occasional cleaning, Clinere Ear Cleaners will provide them with the assistance they need."
Clinere Ear Cleaners can be purchased in a 10-count package and are priced at $5.99 to $6.99.
Clinere Products added that future plans for Clinere Ear Cleaners include a softer, more flexible option for sensitive ears and an even softer version for infant ear cleaning.
