Cobalis’ PreHistin honored by ECRM

Cobalis Corp.’s PreHistin Allergy Defense Formula has been recognized with ECRM’s 2011 Best New Product Award.

IRVINE, Calif. — Cobalis Corp.’s PreHistin Allergy Defense Formula has been recognized with ECRM’s 2011 Best New Product Award.

Cobalis said Thursday that PreHistin, which the company bills as the first-ever pre-histamine, was presented with the Best New Product Award at the recent ECRM Cough, Cold and Allergy show in Orlando, Fla.

A natural allergy remedy, PreHistin Allergy Defense Formula is designed to help rebalance the immune system to lower allergen antibody IgE levels and regulate the release of symptom-linked histamine, which is connected to the onset of symptoms such as sneezing, itchy watery eyes, runny nose and nasal congestion, according to Cobalis. The cherry-flavored lozenge is dissolved under the tongue and then swallowed twice a day for 21 to 30 days, usually before the pollen season.

"We are very proud that PreHistin was selected by the country’s leading retail and pharmacy buyers as Best New Product of the Year out of a field of thousands of products," stated Marty Marion, chief executive officer of Cobalis.

"In introducing PreHistin as the world’s first pre-histamine, we have literally created an entirely new category in allergy care," Marion added, "as well as offering the more than 60 million Americans who suffer from seasonal and year-round allergies the first major new option available in years — the opportunity to regulate allergen antibody IgE levels to restore a normal, nonreactive response to allergens, as opposed to treating symptoms after an allergic reaction has started. We thank the retailers and distributors who attended this show for awarding us this great honor and recognition."

PreHistin is now on shelves at one of the nation’s two largest drug store chains and is expected to be on pharmacy and supermarket shelves nationwide soon, according to Cobalis.
