WOONSOCKET, R.I. — CVS Health announced that updated 2025-2026 COVID-19 vaccinations are now available at CVS Pharmacy and MinuteClinic locations across the country, following authorization from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and approval by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

The vaccines are available to individuals aged five and older at CVS Pharmacy and to patients 18 months and older at MinuteClinic. Appointments can be scheduled online through CVS.com or the CVS Health app, though walk-ins are accepted.

“Vaccination is a safe, effective and simple way to help protect yourself, your family and your community,” said Amy Compton-Phillips, M.D., executive vice president and chief medical officer at CVS Health. “Our pharmacies and clinics make it easy for patients to get vaccinated when and where it’s convenient for them.”

The CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) recently recommended that COVID-19 vaccines be administered through shared clinical decision-making for individuals six months and older. This approach encourages personalized discussions between patients and their healthcare providers. In accordance with this guidance, CVS Pharmacy and MinuteClinic professionals will provide vaccinations to any patients who request them.

Vaccination appointments are offered seven days a week, including evenings and weekends. CVS Health’s online scheduler allows families or groups of up to four people to book together, and patients may receive multiple vaccines — including flu, MMR and others — during a single visit.

The updated COVID-19 vaccine is available at no cost through most insurance plans. For uninsured patients, prices range from $154 to $249.99, depending on the product type and eligibility. Vaccines for patients aged five and above are available at select CVS Pharmacy locations, while MinuteClinic offers vaccines for those 18 months and older.
