WOONSOCKET, R.I.— CVS Pharmacy has named Kevin Murphy, Jr., senior vice president, payer relations and managed care.
In this role, Murphy will oversee negotiation for all retail reimbursement contracts with third-party payors and develop new methods of contracting with PBMs and Health Plans.
Murphy first joined CVS Health in 2011, where he has been in various leadership roles, most recently as group head, specialty and infusion.
He earned a Master’s degree in Finance from Fairfield University and a B.S. in Management from the University of Rhode Island.
