Dick Domann named VP of Kerr Health

Pharmaceutical industry veteran Dick Domann has been named vice president of sales and business development for the Kerr Health unit of Kerr Drug. "Dick’s immense pharmaceutical background makes him a wonderful addition to our team,” said Kerr chief executive officer Tony Civello.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Pharmaceutical industry veteran Dick Domann has been named vice president of sales and business development for the Kerr Health unit of Kerr Drug.

"Dick’s immense pharmaceutical background makes him a wonderful addition to our team,” said Kerr chief executive officer Tony Civello. "Dick is highly regarded both in the industry and in the community. He is truly a first class addition to the Kerr family. We are excited for the opportunities that will come from his many relationships and his industry expertise."

Domann brings to Kerr 30 years of pharmaceutical experience at GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) and Johnson & Johnson. He began his career in 1980 with McNeil Pharmaceuticals; he joined Glaxo Pharmaceuticals in 1983. He ascended through the GSK organization holding roles as territory sales representative, district sales manager, director of government development, director of strategic trade operations, managed markets chief of staff, and segment vice president for channel sales.

Since moving to North Carolina in 1987, Domann has served on numerous charitable foundation boards and has been actively involved in North Carolina politics. He has served as chairman of the GSK’s political action committee board of directors, and president of the Morrisville Rotary Club, and as chairman of the Cary Chamber of Commerce from 2008 to 2009.

Domann has authored and published a novel entitled “The Ghost on Number 2” and is working on a second novel.
