GOODLETTSVILLE, Tenn. – Dollar General is launching a festive promotion to help customers save time and money this holiday season. Beginning December 1 and running through Christmas Eve, the company will offer daily discounts on a featured item each day as part of its "24 Days of Savings" campaign. The initiative complements the retailer's broader "Decked Out in Deals" holiday savings, which includes DG Deal Days and discounts on more than 6,000 items storewide.

“With the stress of fewer shopping days between Thanksgiving and Christmas this year, we wanted to find a fun way for our customers to plan for and capture upcoming deep discounts on hot items,” said Emily Taylor, executive vice president and chief merchandising officer at Dollar General. “The 24 Days of Savings is a unique holiday promotional campaign for DG and is in addition to all the great savings already available in-store on electronics, appliances, gift wrapping, trees and more.”

The "24 Days of Savings" campaign will showcase a new deal each day, with upcoming offers revealed every Sunday morning via the myDG app, Dollar General’s website, social media channels, and in-store signage. Examples of deals include $1 pricing on $3 holiday mugs, buy-one-get-one-free True Living® plates or bowls, 50% off 36-inch tower speaker systems, and two Smithfield® 12 oz. bacon packages for $6.

The featured deals will be available at Dollar General’s more than 20,000 stores nationwide, while supplies last. The promotion is designed for in-store shopping and will not extend to online purchases.

This seasonal initiative reinforces Dollar General’s commitment to providing value during the busy holiday period. It offers shoppers convenient ways to stretch their budgets without sacrificing the festive spirit.
