CHICAGO — Dr. Smith’s Diaper Rash Ointment was joined by entrepreneur and television personality Bill Rancic to mark the baby care brand’s launch in Walgreens drug stores nationwide.

Mission Pharmacal said Monday that Rancic and his wife Giuliana talked about raising their 1-year-old son Duke and shared parenting tips with guests at the event. The company hosted the event to introduce the Dr. Smith’s diaper rash ointment to Chicago moms and dads.

Attendes had the opportunity to meet Bill and Giuliana Rancic and learn more from company representatives and other users about how Dr. Smith’s can help quickly heal irritated baby bottoms. Representatives from Walgreens were also in attendance.

"After all we’ve been through to have Duke in our lives, we treasure every minute we spend with him. If we can make those moments happy by not having to deal with diaper rashes, then that’s more quality time we can spend with our son," Bill Rancic said at the launch event.

Mission Pharmacal noted that Dr. Smith’s is known for its ability to heal severe diaper rash quickly and has grown in popularity via word-of-mouth and through positive product reviews and recommendations on social media.

Last month, the company announced that it expanded distribution of the diaper rash ointment at all Walgreens stores, making the product readily available to parents throughout the United States.

"As a mother of twins, and a user of Dr. Smith’s, I am excited to share my personal experience about our diaper ointment with other moms and dads," stated Natalie Sirjuesingh, senior vice president of marketing at Mission Pharmacal. "We want to spread the message that Dr. Smith’s is a quality product that offers moms a soothing, gentle cream that can be applied to even the most irritated baby bottoms, with an ability to help eliminate the most stubborn diaper rashes."

Besides Walgreens, Dr. Smith’s Diaper Rash Ointment is available at such retailers as Walmart, Kroger, Albertsons, H-E-B, Publix, Harris Teeter, Ingles and Schnucks.
