GURNEE, Ill. — EcoTools has introduced new, Halloween-inspired makeup looks using false lashes that are completely hypo-allergenic.

The beauty care and bath accessories company said Tuesday that the EcoTools Naturally Beautiful Lash System is free of formaldehyde, latex and parabens, enabling women to "look scary beautiful without any of the scary side effects."

The new looks include Cat’s Meow, for a feline costume; Pretty Pretty Princess, for those planning to don a royal princess costume; and Bewitchingly Beautiful, for those looking to enhance a traditional witch costume.

Consumers can go online to the "Look Beautiful, Live Beautifully Blog" for full step-by-step instructions to create the Halloween looks.

"Halloween is one of the top lash-wearing occasions in the U.S.," stated Eva Oreskovich, director of marketing at Paris Presents Inc., the parent company of EcoTools. "EcoTools offers lash styles that are not only great to top off your costume but also beautiful for year-round use. The best part: Our formaldehyde-free glue helps eliminate eye irritation that many women worry about with false lashes."

EcoTools Naturally Beautiful Lash System comes in five lash styles and retails for $5.99. The styles include Soft and Dramatic, Naturally Lush, Wispy and Flared, Everyday Length, and Barely There.

Through Oct. 29, EcoTools is offering all lashes at 25% off when consumers use the code GREENHALLOWEEN at checkout on ecotools.com. EcoTools lashes are also available at such retailers as Walgreens, Ulta and Harmon.
