SEATTLE — Starting this weekend, Bartell Drugs stores will turn the spotlight on beauty care with the kickoff of the chain’s annual Fall Beauty Event.
From Oct. 2 to 8, participating Bartell locations will offer customers a range of makeup demonstrations and services, as well as beauty product specials.
Bartell has rolled out BeYu cosmetics at select stores.
Headlining the event will be an appearance by international celebrity makeup artist Lindsay Ebbin for German-made masstige cosmetics brand BeYu, whose products have been introduced at select Bartell stores.
Ebbin is the co-founder and chief creative officer for BAM BrandsUSA, the U.S. distributor of BeYu and the prestige brand Make Up Factory.
Plans call for Ebbin will host makeup tutorials and demos at Bartell’s Bellevue Village location on Friday, Oct. 7, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and at its University Village store on Saturday, Oct. 8, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
And leading off next week for the Fall Beauty Event, six Bartell stores will offer fall “mini-makeover” makeup consultations with a professional cosmetician. The retailer also will serve up chainwide sale pricing on a selection of beauty items.
The consultations will be available by appointment at the following Bartell stores: Upper Queen Anne (Oct. 3), Magnolia (Oct. 4), Gig Harber (Oct. 5), Seattle Hill Road (Oct. 6), Bellevue Village (Oct. 7) and University Village (Oct. 8). The latter two locations will offer 14 appointments each, while the other stores each will offer 13 appointments, Bartell said.
Overall, Bartell Drugs operates 65 stores in Washington’s King, Snohomish and Pierce counties.
