The expansion will include an investment in a new manufacturing facility, new diaper manufacturing lines, new training pant lines and a new state-of-the-art automated warehouse facility. This manufacturing expansion will be implemented in stages and is expected to be completed by June 2025.

First Quality will also be increasing its bladder control pad, protective underwear and underpad capacity by over 25%, which is expected to be completed by September 2025.

“These investments are fueled not only by customer demand but also First Quality’s commitment to bringing the latest innovations to the North American market,” says Allen Bodford, president of First Quality’s Absorbent Hygiene division. “We’re excited to continue growing alongside our retail partners.”

The company operates six manufacturing sites in the U.S. and Canada. In addition to diapers, training pants and adult incontinence products, it makes menstrual pads and wipes, as well as household paper and packaging products.

“Our focus is on delivering innovations that improve quality and affordability without ever sacrificing performance,” says Sima Delafraz, chief commercial officer at First Quality. “All of this is backed by our clinical experience to help our retail partners meet the needs of shoppers at every age and stage.”

First Quality’s clinical experience began more than 30 years ago when the company entered the health care industry with a focus on providing adult incontinence products to long-term care and assisted living facilities. It has since grown to also become one of the private label market leaders across several absorbent hygiene and household categories.

“Our health care experience strengthens our ability to serve our retail partners,” says Delafraz. “Personalized care matters, whether it’s in a home or health care setting. With everything we make we are guided by the belief that raising the quality of a product can raise someone’s quality of life.”
