This year, Benzer Pharmacy plans to open 20 to 30 new pharmacies. Company executives have previously said that, through its franchise program, Benzer can add 600 more stores by providing a turnkey solution for independent pharmacies to rebrand to its banner.
To that end, next month Benzer plans to hold a dinner presentation to outline its franchise model and is inviting independent pharmacy owners interested in joining the chain. The event is scheduled for June 17 at the Rusty Pelican in Tampa.
“Timing is key, and today’s market condition is perfect for rebranding. With margins likely to reduce and the reimbursement time frames extended with independent pharmacies, it may be time to consider rebranding,” according to Binita Patel, franchise development manager for Benzer.
By becoming a Benzer franchisee, independent pharmacy owners get recognition of a large national brand; reduced cost of goods and expenses; access to expert human resources, marketing, accounting, compliance and operational support; business coaching to optimize key areas of operation; and access to the full spectrum of specialty medications.
For $800 per month and no other royalty fees, the pharmacy owner’s business goals can be met in one step through Benzer franchise model, Binita Patel noted.
“The Benzer franchise conversion opportunity allows you to take advantage of our proven track record while being in business for yourself, but not by yourself,” she stated, adding “Franchisees even have the flexibility to cancel the agreement with 45 days’ prior written notice.”
Currently, Benzer has more than 50 locations in Florida, Michigan, Virginia, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Georgia, Nevada and Louisiana.
