PLANO, Texas — Frito-Lay North America has expanded its tortilla chip line with the new Tostitos Artisan Recipes.
The company said this week that Tostitos Artisan Recipes are made with high-quality whole white corn and 100% natural ingredients, such as real black beans, garlic and chipotle peppers, that are added right into the chips, along with a blend of nine flavorful grains, to deliver "an authentic and delicious taste experience you can see and taste."
Tostitos Artisan Recipes tortilla chips come in two flavors: Roasted Garlic & Black Bean and Fire-Roasted Chipotle. Each serving provides eight grams of whole grains. The recommended daily allowance of whole grains is 48 grams.
"Since first entering the market more than 30 years ago, Tostitos tortilla chips have been known for bringing people together to share fun, memorable experiences, making our great-tasting chips the must-have staple for just about any type of event or gathering," commented Justin Lambeth, vice president of marketing for Frito-Lay North America. "With the introduction of Artisan Recipes, we’ve put a new spin on the classic tortilla chip, baking real ingredients into every chip for a taste so unexpected and delicious, consumers can enjoy them straight from the bag."
Tostitos Artisan Recipes Roasted Garlic & Black Bean and Fire-Roasted Chipotle tortilla chips are available now in 9.75-ounce bags for $3.99 each, the company said.
