The Nestlé Skin Health brand said Tuesday that both facial skin care products are rolling out to major retailers nationwide and online sellers starting this month at a suggested retail price of $8.99.

A sensitive skin formula, Differin Daily Deep Cleanser is designed to provide the effectiveness of maximum-strength benzoyl peroxide but with less irritation and redness, according to Galderma.

The product is geared toward those seeking a deep, powerful cleansing that won’t strip their delicate skin, the company noted.

Differin Oil Control Moisturizer with SPF 30 is an oil-free, lightweight moisturizer that’s compatible for use with Galderma’s Differin Gel over-the-counter acne treatment as part of a daily skin care routine, Galderma said.

“The introduction of our new Differin Daily Deep Cleanser and Oil Control Moisturizer with SPF 30 underscores our continued commitment to delivering efficacious skin care solutions that are both affordable and accessible to consumers,” stated June Risser, vice president and general manager of consumer business at Nestlé Skin Health.

Last year, Differin made a splash with the OTC launch of Differin Gel (0.1% adapalene), which Galderma said at the time marked the first new, Food and Drug Administration-approved active ingredient to be introduced to the nonprescription acne category in more than 30 years.

In its first year on the shelf, Differin Gel received 10 beauty awards from nationally acclaimed publications and digital properties, including the 2017 Allure Best of Beauty Award. Actress Ashley Benson also partnered with Galderma for the national launch of Differin Gel.

“Making the power of Differin Gel available to consumers without a prescription was our first step in helping the millions of acne sufferers nationwide,” Risser added.
