BOCA RATON, Fla. — Flu & Cold Defense LLC has landed distribution of its new GermBullet nasal inhaler at one of the nation’s two biggest drug store chains and wants consumers to name which one.
The company said this week that one of those drug chains has a special GermBullet dispenser on its pharmacy counters in nearly 3,000 stores. And to help introduce the new organic product, through March 4 GermBullet is giving away thousands of its bullet-shaped nasal inhalers that help defend against cold and flu viruses and bacteria.
"If you are first to identify GermBullet at any one of the 3,000 display locations, we will send you two GermBullets at no charge. That’s nearly a $20 value," stated Jim Whidden, vice president of Flu & Cold Defense, the maker of the GermBullet.
The company is urging consumers to "visit the two largest drug stores near you" and if they find a GermBullet display on the pharmacy or checkout counter to e-mail the drug store name, address and ZIP and your name, address and ZIP to wincontest@germbullet.com. If they are the first to identify that store, they win two free GermBullets. Those who are not the first, as well as those who don’t find any stores with the GermBullet (and name the stores they visited), will have their entries placed in a drawing for the product.
The GermBullet nasal inhaler contains a proprietary, broad-spectrum, germ-fighting formula of 11 certified organic or wild-grown botanicals, according to Flu & Cold Defense. The pocket-size, easy-to-use vapor inhaler has 100% organic ingredients and doesn’t contain alcohol, zinc, synthetics, artificial fragrances, fillers, extenders or preservatives.
Flu & Cold Defense added that GermBullet is safe, with a 25-year history of usage in liquid format, and its blend of botanicals has been tested and scientifically proven to be effective in fighting respiratory germs. In two independent laboratory tests, the company said, the all-natural GermBullet inhalation formula inhibited and killed flu and cold viruses and killed illness-causing bacteria, fungus and mold that can cause respiratory infection.
On the GermBullet web site, the company said the product already is available at Kerr Drug and Food City, as well as at a number of independent pharmacies and other retailers.
