Good Neighbor Pharmacy leads chain drug stores in satisfaction and trust

Recognition from J.D. Power coincides with ThoughtSpot, Cencora’s flagship annual tradeshow and conference for community care providers.

CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa. — Good Neighbor Pharmacy, a national franchise for independent pharmacies offered through Cencora, has been ranked “No. 1 in Customer Satisfaction with Chain Drug Store Pharmacies” in the JD Power 2026 U.S. Pharmacy Study, a syndicated benchmarking study profiling the experiences of customers of the largest pharmacies in the United States. In addition to ranking highest overall, Good Neighbor Pharmacy ranked highest across four of seven dimensions: Pharmacy offerings meet my needs - medication & health and wellness services, Able to get prescriptions how/when I want (Convenience), People (Staff) and My level of trust with pharmacy.

This is the 14th time that Good Neighbor Pharmacy has earned this recognition in the last 17 years and coincides with the gathering of more than 4,000 community and long-term care pharmacy owners, industry experts and partners at Cencora’s 15th annual tradeshow and conference, ThoughtSpot. The four-day flagship event celebrates the value and resilience of independent pharmacies and community care providers.

  • Good Neighbor Pharmacy Champion Awards: The 2026 Good Neighbor Pharmacy Champion Awards recipients were unveiled on July 28, spotlighting three pharmacies for outstanding contributions in advocacy, clinical care and storytelling. Moreland & Devitt Pharmacy, with four locations in West Central Illinois, led by CEO and pharmacist, Scott Stoll; Desert Hospital Outpatient Pharmacy of Palm Springs, California, led by CEO, Ramesh Upadhyayula; and Quik-Stop Pharmacy of Thorndale, Pennsylvania, led by president and pharmacist, Alissa Griffith were recognized for their efforts to advance the profession, optimize patient care and inspire others, underpinning the critical role they play as accessible sites of care in their communities.
