CHESTERBROOK, Pa. — Good Neighbor Pharmacy has launched Good Neighbor Pharmacy University, an online resource that offers pharmacy owners education and tools to help them succeed in today’s health care marketplace.

The AmerisourceBergen Corp. independent pharmacy network said Thursday that Good Neighbor Pharmacy University provides exclusive information and continuing education courses to support delivery of patient care.

Educational resources include seminars, webinars and continuing education courses, as well as a training log to help pharmacy staff document their course progress. In addition, a range of pharmacy business news help keep Good Neighbor Pharmacy members abreast of what’s happening in their communities and around the nation.

A key feature of Good Neighbor Pharmacy University is the Knowledge Exchange, which provides opportunities to tap into the Good Neighbor Pharmacy network of pharmacists to facilitate co-learning and shared problem solving. The exchange will contain discussion boards, forums for sharing best business practices and Q&A panels, among other tools.

Good Neighbor Pharmacy University also offers monthly tips from business and marketing experts to help pharmacy owners build a strong brand identity through traditional marketing and social media channels.

"As the health care industry continues to evolve, Good Neighbor Pharmacy is a partner to community pharmacists as we deliver resources and tools to help their businesses thrive," Scott Robinson, vice president of Good Neighbor Pharmacy, said in a statement. "Access to this new online resource center will provide members with the knowledge and best practices they need to provide superior service to their customers and communities."
