Health In Hand Foundation calls for nominations for 2025 U.S. Self-Care Marketing Awards

The awards honor strategic innovation and marketing in OTC medicine, dietary supplements, and OTC medical devices.

WASHINGTON — The Health In Hand Foundation, the nonprofit arm of the Consumer Healthcare Products Association (CHPA), has officially opened nominations for the 2025 U.S. Self-Care Marketing Awards. The winners will be honored at the 10th annual Health In Hand Foundation Gala, scheduled for November 12 at The Bellevue Hotel in Philadelphia.

The awards celebrate excellence in marketing across the self-care industry, recognizing standout campaigns in over-the-counter (OTC) medicine, dietary supplements, and medical devices. This year’s competition features eight categories, including two newly introduced honors: Best Omni-Channel Shopper Solution and Best Public Health Campaign.

“We’re especially excited this year to spotlight two brand-new categories: Best Omni-Channel Shopper Solution and Best Public Health Campaign,” said Mary Leonard, Executive Director, Health In Hand Foundation. “We are highlighting the critical importance of retailer-manufacturer collaborations through omni-channel shopper campaigns, as well as spotlighting the growing importance of strategic campaigns that promote public health to create a healthier, more vibrant future for all. These awards are a chance to shine a light on the talented brand teams behind the scenes, recognizing their creativity and innovation across the self-care industry. We can’t wait to see the inspiring nominations that come in and look forward to celebrating our members' creativity and impact together this November.”

The 2025 award categories:

  • NEW! Best Omni-Channel Shopper Solution
  • NEW! Best Public Health Campaign
  • Best Digital Campaign
    • Categories: Total Brand Budget of Less than $5M, Total Brand Budget of More than $5M
  • Best Product Launch Campaign
    • Categories: Total Brand Budget of Less than $5M, Total Brand Budget of More than $5M
  • Best Overall Multicultural and Inclusive Campaign
  • People’s Choice Award
    • To be voted on via social media prior to the event. All finalists will be listed.

A diverse panel of judges will independently evaluate submissions and select three finalists per category. Winners will be announced live at the gala. Nominations are open to CHPA member companies and must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. ET on Friday, July 11.
